About Me
Nice to meet you!
Hi... I am Steph Moore, owner and creator of Patacake.
After making my sons first birthday cake in March 2011,
I fell in love with cake decorating. I established Patacake in 2013 as a small business i could take with me as i traveled with my husband in the Armed Forces.
Now settled in Misterton, Doncaster, I have been lucky enough to push my business forward and do what I love the most, Wedding cakes!
I come from a very creative background, both my Dad and Grandad are Windsor chair makers and specialist in their field & my mum is an amazing tattoo artist, so I guess it was only natural for me to take a creative turn.
Training
I am a completely self taught baker. As a child I would bake with my Aunties and my Grandparents and have always had a love for baking.
I have spent the last 7 years learning and perfecting my skills through classes, videos and practice.
I have won several awards including a bronze award at Cake International for my wedding cake design, Finalist in the 2019 I DO National Wedding awards and most recently won Cake designer of the year 2021 for Yorkshire and the North East.
I love my job and every single cake that I put my name to has to meet the perfect standard, whether that be a £60 Birthday cake or a £600 Wedding cake. I am a perfectionist and try to ensure that my work is perfect 100% of the time.
Your Special Occasion
Over the last 7 years I have perfected my recipes and tested many flavor combinations. This ensures that your wedding cake will taste as good as it looks.
Based in Misterton, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, I cover most of South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.
